"Crossing Delancey" is a romantic comedy by Susan Sandler. Isabel (Katie Youngren) is a modern young woman who lives alone and works in a book shop. When she is not pining after a handsome author (Frank Hills), she is visiting her grandmother (Arline Bonner) in Manhattan*s Lower East Side. This delightfully nosey old lady and her friend the matchmaker (Anne O'Brien) have found a *good catch* for Isabel, Sam (Robert Wright) the handsome pickle vendor.
"Crossing Delancey " is directed by Art O'Brien and will open Friday, May 23 and run through Sunday, June 8.
Curtain is 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for students and can be reserved by calling the Melon Patch Players' box office at 352-787-3013.
