Auditions for "Crossing Delancey" will be held on Sunday and Monday, April 13th and 14th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Melon Patch theater, at 311 N. 13th St., Leesburg.

This romantic comedy calls for the following characters: Bubbie - 70 to 80 years old - she immigrated to the U.S. and is now living on the lower east side of Manhattan; Isabella - late 20's - early 30's - Works in a book store - a romantic at heart; Hannah 50 -60 years old - The "matchmaker" - A wheeler- dealer type; Tyler 40 to 50 years old - A fiction writer - charming and self-centered; Sam - 30 to 40 years old - The "pickleman" and poet - Gentle and appealing. ** New York/Yiddish speeech inflection would be helpful. We will work with you.
